Although playing the violin is about music, competitions can be a powerful motivator. The tremendous growth that takes place when preparing for an audition, competition, or recording, is in itself very rewarding. Highly motivated participants are bound to achieve many things in their lives, and will have a deep personal satisfaction as they realize their dreams.
