The Musical Table
The annual Musical Table, sold out every year since its inception in 2004, has been a major fund raiser for the Unitarian Church in Mission Viejo, CA. This event features outstanding musicians from Southern California and a catered four-course meal with drinks.
The Musical Chairs
Maximum capacity for the Eagle Pointe venue is 60 people, so the Musical Chairs was established to serve the increased demand for excellent chamber music concerts in a relaxed setting. This series frequently engages musicians who have played at the Musical Table, and it gives more people an opportunity to get to know some of the finest artists in Southern California.
The International Series
On occasion, musicians from abroad are invited to perform at the Eagle Pointe Chamber Series. Recent guest artists include trumpeter/composer Markus Stockhausen, clarinetist Tara Bouman, cellist Laszlo Mezo, pianist Steven VanHauwaert, and violinist/conductor Maxim Eshkenazy.
Master Classes
Master Classes and special guest presentations are held quarterly and are open to the public. Performers are chosen primarily from the violin class of Dana Freeman, with guests from other studios. The Master Teachers are professors from conservatories and violinists in major symphonies in the United States and abroad.
