Community Service
At violineducation.com we celebrate our good fortune as musicians by sharing music with others. We frequently arrange and play concerts at local churches and schools, and we encourage our violin students to use music as a means to support charities of their choice. One student started a Music Club at her school to raise funds for Project Hope, a homeless shelter where she taught weekly. Some students perform and usher at retirement homes. Others tutor younger violin students at school. Freeman’s students volunteer at the Pacific Symphony Musical Carnivals and at the Santa Ana Strings Program. They engage audiences during intermission at Symphony Concerts, and they perform at numerous fund raising events such as Donor Appreciation parties and the annual Wine Festival.
